How to Apply

Application Steps:

  1. Complete Hamilton County Schools Magnet Application (dates posted late Fall of 2023). Click here to apply.
  2. You will receive an email from our Dean of Fine Arts, Vincent Hale communicating your in-person audition information.
  3. Attend your audition in person (don’t forget to bring the necessary materials listed under the majors page). If you live abroad or cannot make an in-person audition due to other circumstances, please contact Mr. Hale at hale_vincent@hcde.org.
  4. Notification of acceptance status will be issued by a date provided to you (date to be determined).
  5. Respond to Lottery Offer by the date provided to you.

The choice application will close on the date designated by Hamilton County Schools.

CCA will follow the HCS “Choose Hamilton” timeline which is or will be available by clicking here.

  1. Good evening. I am very interested in my son jaxen granger to attend this school when he starts 6th grade next year. He is in the beta club, violin class, book club and has several referrals from teachers and the principal on how great he is at school academically and behavior wise. I am trying to add this school to his school choice lottery application but i have not had a response so is there any other way for me to be able to add this school on there and to set up an audition? I would appreciate any info. Thankyou.
