Application Steps for 2025-2026:
- Complete a Hamilton County Schools Magnet Application. Click here to apply. The timeline for application opening and closing will be posted on this website closer to the fall and will follow the HCS timeline.
- You will receive an email from our Dean of Fine Arts, Vincent Hale communicating your in-person audition information.
- Attend your audition in person (don’t forget to bring the necessary materials listed under the majors page). If you live abroad or cannot make an in-person audition due to other circumstances, please contact Mr. Hale at hale_vincent@hcde.org.
- Notification of acceptance status will be issued on February. A specific date will be provided closer to the fall.
- Respond to Lottery Offer by the date provided to you.
The choice application will close on the date designated by Hamilton County Schools.

Good evening. I am very interested in my son jaxen granger to attend this school when he starts 6th grade next year. He is in the beta club, violin class, book club and has several referrals from teachers and the principal on how great he is at school academically and behavior wise. I am trying to add this school to his school choice lottery application but i have not had a response so is there any other way for me to be able to add this school on there and to set up an audition? I would appreciate any info. Thankyou.
